How can I attach a file (multiple page .pdf) to a static product so that a customer can download it? The product image is the front page. Past that, can I structure it so that it is my choice if it requires payment? Thanks _________________ Mark |

I have the same basic question. Since this has been unanswered for over a year, I assume the answer is: Can't do it. Am I wrong?
I can certainly embed an html link in the product description... but I see no way to disable the "order" option for just this product. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. _________________ The sooner I fall behind, the more time I'll have later on to catch up. |

Reno,
Still working on the payment issue, but for now you will need two files....one for the product image and the other for the download you are providing (disregarding payment issue). Create a new custom static spec and point to your file from there in the table.
Hope this helps and I didn't just embarass myself. _________________ Mark |

| If you want the user to pay for the file, one option is to make it a variable product, and use the Preview and Proof job to say "File will be emailed to you". The Production file can then be emailed to the user by checking the following box when creating the product "Buyer downloads production job." |
