We have 3 versions of an agreement form and have setup a rule to pick the particular form based on their state. If the state is PA the correct form shows but we also need to ask an additional question only for that form. I was thinking of finding the value of the Sheet1_state data source value and showing the text field if the value is PA but I'm not sure that data source variables work in the same way as variables on the spec form. Any ideas on how to make this work?

This one really slipped by me... I'm willing to help if you need any. The quick answer is that the variables in your project don't work like the spec form variables.
