We enable customers to place an order with quantites that push the order from 1 to up 8 boxes. Does anyone know how to set up third party shipping so the number of boxes is taken into account? _________________ |

From my experience there is not a way to do this. The shipping charges are solely based on weight of each item. Now you can change the quantity multiplier for your product to be what will fit into one box, but then it will not take in account the 100 weight price break that ups has. _________________ |

We've been trying to solve this problem for quite a while now, and we still haven't come up with a strong solution, other than bill for shipping after the fact (which only works if you're using purchase orders... if they're trying to pay with a credit card, forget it).
If anyone has any ideas on how to solve this, I'd be very interested to hear them as well... _________________ |
